Ironman South Africa Brick Session

I call this type of workout a "quality" brick. It is basically a way to get your metabolic engine running. I warm up on the bike in zone **$ and *&$ and, for the last &$# of the ride, I target my Ironman power. When you hit the track, you are looking keep a quick turn over and get some quality speed and effort. This is faster than Ironman pace. As you become accustomed to the faster speed it makes it seem easier to run your goal pace. Bonus!
